The Department of Physical Education headed by Mr.M.Sakthivel., Physical Director and the College Management understands how important physical activities are for the wholesome development of an individual. Physical Education is part of general education and it is directed and centered on the total well being of the student. It is important for the development of physical, social and mental skills. The skills obtained from the physical education environment will allow the student to develop an attitude, which will prepare him/her for a lifelong pursuit of being physically fit.

Being a very active participant and winner in almost all genres of sports he is now providing coaching to our students after college hours to participate in Zonal matches. Our students have received several awards in the Sports and Games activities under his efficient guidance.
